Cashback Configuration

We need to check some options on the Till Terminal first.

Shutdown GPOS software first from your Manager page back to your windows desktop.


The first thing to check on the Till if you can open up the GPOS Programming Utility by clicking the desktop shortcut.


This will prompt you to select your database which by default will be pointing to the correct one, so if you can now click ‘Continue’.


From the menu, if you can select Programming -> System Tables and System Options (List)


If you can look for System option 67 for 'EFT Hospitality Mode' and make sure this is set to ‘False’ as below;




Now if you can look for system option 60 for 'EFT: Ask for Cashback' and make sure this is set to ‘True


Now we need to save the changes made within the Utility if you look to the right-hand corner if you click on the Cross (X) as below to close.


This will give you the option to ‘Save settings to the database?’ if you now click ‘Yes’.


Relaunch GPOS on the till again to get back into your Till application software doubling clicking the shortcut on the desktop.



Back to the back office software and into Total Control Premier under GPOS Specifics and selecting ‘Payment List

Open up your card payment key.

If you can make sure the ‘Change Payment code’ is set to ‘Cash’


And also, make sure ‘EFT Ask Cash Back’ is set to ‘True’.


Click 'Save'.

If you now send down communications to the till.
