General Cloud Functionality

The new Total Control Premier Cloud Edition (TCPCE) has been designed with easy functionality. Throughout the pages, there are recurring themes and similar functionality.

Menu Functionality



Pressing the arrow (circled above) will expand and retract the menu to reveal the page names. 

Hovering over the page icon will give the page name and a brief description of the page. 

Basic Functionality

Each page will have a selection of these buttons

  1. This button opens the Filtering functionality for the table
  2. This button opens the Group functionality for the table
  3. This is the Add button
  4. This is the Edit button
  1. This will be greyed out if multiple fields are selected
  2. This will be greyed out if no fields are selected
  1. This button is the Batch Edit button (subject to change)
  1. This will be greyed out until multiple fields are selected
  1. This is the Delete button
  2. This is the Revive button
  3. This is the Export Data button for exporting to Excel
  1. This exports the current filters
Selecting the cog button will open the Column selection and organisation menu


Each Column can be resized 
  • By editing the columns to the left, it will automatically resize all the columns to the right proportionally by how much you narrow or widen the selected column
  • The column chooser allows you to Show or Hide each column individually
  • You can also Hide just that selected column

Editing


All pages with editable items will have the below;


Save

  • Saves the current page 
  • Switching between tabs within Products will automatically save all information (exceptions are stated in tooltips)

Save & Close

  • Saves the current page and returns you to the parent screen

Save & New

  • Applicable to Product pages
  • Saves the current page and creates a new PLU, Group or Other

Cancel

  • Cancel’s all changes made

Tooltips 


Within each editing screen, you can find a question mark.

This is the tooltip for the line you want to edit. It has a description of the field and basic parameters.

Records


  • Each page has a default number of records to show.
  • Filtering will look through all available items and display a maximum number of records within the search parameters. 
  • Records maximum per pages are
  • 50
  • 100
  • 200
  • 500


Total Control Premier Cloud Edition is designed to streamline your business by allowing the maintenance of products, clerks, stock, and promotions. Total Control Premier also has a comprehensive range of reports for both sales information and stock information.

When first using the Cloud browser which we would recommend using Google Chrome. You will be able to use your Desktop Total Control Premier user name and password with the email details you have configured in your user maintenance under Setup \ User Maintenance (screenshot 1.1).

Once you’ve logged onto the system you will see the submenu down the left-hand side which at first shows icons but this can be expanded as shown in (screenshot 1.2).

To expand the menu, if you hover over the show\hide menu arrow as below (screenshot 1.3following by right-clicking on your mouse and the menu will expand.

You will now be able to see the side menu expanded which gives you a list of sub-menus which works in the same manner when using the desktop version of Total Control Premier to select from.

If you want to change Sites which you can this from the site option at the top of the screen and by clicking the drop-down arrow (Screenshot 1.5).

Under Group drop-down you will see the following;

  • All Site Groups
  • Individual Site Group
  • Synchronised Site Group
