HHT X3/X4 SOFTWARE UPDATE GUIDE V6.0.0
This document has been written as a guide to aid you in the updating of the HHT Software
This update will clear any stock transaction on the HHT therefore any outstanding transactions Stocktakes, deliveries, orders, etc. must be sent to the Fidelity system before proceeding with this update.
The update will also clear the lookup file, and a new lookup file will be downloaded automatically upon starting the new upgraded software. It is recommended that this is done first thing in the morning or overnight whilst the unit is docked and being charged.
Ensure the remaining battery in the HHT is above 40% - The Battery level can be checked by tapping on the battery icon in the bottom right of the HHT screen.
1. Sign on to the HHT with the user: 999 and the password: 999
2. Press ‘EXIT’
3. Enter User ID and password again: user: 999 and the password: 999
4. Software will close.
1. Double Tap on the Upgrade icon
2. Tick Include Upgrade App and then press on Check Updates and press yes to the prompt.
3.Shortly after that you will receive a second prompt as below (depending on the Centre it will say Woodthorpe Hall or BGC South). Please press Yes.
4. This will then start to download the latest config. If an error occurs, please try the download for a second time. If an error occurs again, please contact Fidelity 01482 223556 option 3.
If no error occurs, you will get the below prompt. at this point, please press OK and then exit the software by pressing Exit and Yes on the prompt.
Once started the application will download the new lookup file automatically.
This process can take over 30mins to complete.
The processing of the lookups will complete faster if the HHT is placed in the charging dock and the screen is kept on during the process.
1. Sign on to the HHT with the user: 999 and the password: 999 and Click on the menu – ‘FILES’
2. Once in the files menu tap the words ‘Powered by Exela AutoID Solutions’
If done correct you will see the following screen:
3. Tap ‘Next’ 6 times until you see the following screen:

Tap ‘Refresh Queue’ – Wait for list to refresh.
Tap ‘Save Queue’ – This saves the updated label queue
Tap ‘Save’
Tap ‘Exit’
Tap ‘Back’
Tap ‘Logout-999’
This is the switchover process completed you can now sign on using 123 and use the device as normal
