Instant Loyalty stores a system log that notes almost every action performed by the user. If you use the password system, the system log will show the user of each action alongside the date and time.

This screen lets you search through the current log, to do this simply right click on the log and click on search. You will then be prompted to enter your search criteria. The search will then take you through the log highlighting all the parts that match the criteria entered.

From this screen, you can also copy part or the full log to the Windows clipboard. This can be pasted into other applications such as note pad or word for printing. To do this highlight the relevant part of the log, right-click and select copy. Then open your preferred application and paste it into.

Eventually, the system log will get too long to be of any use. We recommend you archive the log on a regular basis to make the amount of data more manageable. The Log can be set to automatically archive when it reaches a certain file size (see General options). You can also manually Archive the Log file from this screen to do this click on the Archive button located at the bottom of the screen.

The log will then be archive and date stamped with the current date. The archived logs can still be viewed if required. To view an archived log click on log selection at the bottom of the screen and select the relevant log file.
