Euro Payment Key

Euro Payment Key

Name: Euro

Change giving Payment: Cash
Monetary: Not Specified
Flags: Tender compulsory
Rate: 0.8 – Exchange Rate at the time.

Example how the payment key works;

A customer using a €50 note,  the system would work this out at 50 x (Current Rate) 0.8 = £40 PLUS minus the item to work out the change, for example, If the PLU item costing £3 the customer would receive back £37 change. The customer would be better off using a smaller note e.g. €5 note worked out at 5 x 0.8 = £4 and receiving £1 change back.
