Locating Bartender Label Files in TCP and how to move them.
When you have decided to make a change to your label file or you need to move its file location to a different place such as on a central store on a server it is important to know where the file is so that once you have moved it you can also update the path to its new location. I will document below how to find it's current location and how to update it.
1. Open Total Control Premier and log in as normal.
2. Depending on your theme and current layout go to Daily Tasks and click on Labels Manager
3. In my scenario, I want to make a change to a specific label, once the label manager has loaded up I take note of the label device and label name
4. Next, we need to press Setup Devices/Formats
5. Taking note from earlier we need to find the Device Name Printer and edit the label device as this device has been set to use our Label 1 file.
6. After Edit has been pressed you will get a pop-out.window showing the labels the device is associated with
7. Same as before you will need to click on the label file and choose Edit Label Format, this will allow you to copy or change the label path depending on your needs. If you have taken a copy and moved it to a server, for example, you can now update this with the new path press save in the right-hand corner followed by save in the top left confirming the change to the label and the change to the label device.
