An integration has been done to allow Sales and Time and Attendance information to be posted from TCP into Catton Hospitality's S4Labour system.
It is done using a new applet called Sales Export Definition. Once in this screen you can type "CreateMyExport" which will then create an export definition based on the S4Labour Specification in the attached files
Type in “CREATEMYEXPORT”
on the applets main (default) screen to create the default definitions
Exporting these will create output files which match the default
definitions for S4 labour.
To automatically export sales data, you need to create a windows shortcut to the file called 'SalesExport.exe'.
This file should be located in your Total Control Premier folder.
You will need to edit the short cut, and specify the Total Control Premier data set number.
To do this, enter the following parameter in the command line after the file name /ConnectionId:n where n is the data set ID.
If you only have one data set, this will usually be 1.
You can check by running 'Total Control Premier With Data Manager' from your start menu, you will see the ID numbers on the left of the grid.
If you want the auto export to export only selected definitions, then change the command line of the short cut to include the optional parameter '/DefinitionId:'.
This is followed by the code number(s) of the required definitions (hyphen separated).
E.g. /DefinitionId:1-3.
This would export definitions 1 and 3.
Use Windows Task Scheduler to specify when you want the short cut to run.
