Schemes

Every member of your loyalty system must be in a scheme, the scheme determines how many points a member can earn, minimum spend before calculating points, how the points are calculated and whether or not they can advance to a new scheme or drop a scheme. For example, you might have a Bronze membership scheme which gives two points for every pound spent, and when they get up to 250 points they would be promoted to the Silver scheme which gives 4 points for every pound spent and so on.

Click on the Schemes icon and the following screen will be displayed:-


To create a new scheme click on the Add Scheme icon in the Schemes menu. The following screen will be displayed;


You must enter a code for the scheme. To find the next free code, click F5.

Enter a description i.e. Bronze scheme

Click on the calculate points for this scheme box to tick it. This lets you determine the number of points issued etc.



When finished click accepts to save the scheme.

Once you have inputted your schemes you can determine whether members should ‘move up’ a scheme when they get to a certain amount of points.

To do this, simply go back into Edit Current Scheme and change ‘advance scheme to’ to your selected scheme which can be chosen from the drop-down list. You must also select how many points/pounds the cardholder spends before they move up a scheme. When a customer moves up a scheme Instant Loyalty automatically changes their membership to the appropriate type.

Deleting Schemes

You can only delete a scheme of there are no members linked to it. Click and highlight the scheme to delete and then click the Delete Scheme.
