Delicensing \ activating the software

Here a guide on how to go about delicensing the software if you are planning to upgrade windows or move to another PC/Laptop to use or to free up a license.

In the Fidelity IT guide explains how to relicense the software and sending across the offline deactivation code to support@fidelitysystems.co.uk and also, how to reactivate the software again.

 

You find the installer for the software on the local machines will be under c:\Fidelity folder. If unsure of the version (Please give me a call and we can assist to make sure the correct version is reinstalled) also, the installer will be on the server to copy across. 

 

When reinstalling the software if your IT will need to install as the client version only.  (Screenshot defaults to the server but if you can change this to a client).

When running Total Control Premier for the first time you will be prompted to set up a connection to the database. We would recommend copying a TCPConnections.xml file off an existing workstation into the following location before running the software which will repoint the software to the server;

 

The file can be found as below and needs to be copied back to the same location;

 

C:\ProgramData\Fidelity Systems\Total Control Premier
