Launch a web page from GPoS

GPoS can open other applications by way of a button press.  This can be used for opening a web page from the till screen.

To do this you need to create an 'Executable'. The executables option is found under the GPoS Specifics section of the menu. If you do not have the option this guide explains how to add things to your menu
Adding an Applet to the Total Control Premier menu

Once you have the Executables screen open you click 'Add' to create a new one.

To launch a webpage you set the File Name to be the location of the web browser you wish to open.  In switches you put the address you would like to be loaded.

The below example shows using Internet Explorer to open a Staff Savvy system.

Once you have created the executable it can be added onto the POS screen
