Mobo2Go Modified Product Setup

Modified Products are when you have a base Product such as a Pint of Coke and you use Modifiers such as Half to sell a Half Pint of Coke using the same Product by pressing the Half Modifier before selecting the product on the till. This allows you to deduct the correct amount of stock and sell at the Half Pint Price.

When you are managing stock with Total Control Premier and have the Mobo2Go link. In order for your Modified products to work these need to be set up as individual products. 

To do this you would first look at your modifiers so you know the different Modifier Multipliers. 

1. Load and log into Total Control Premier
   
2. Under Setup open up the Key Code or Key Maintenance applet
   
3. Press Show Modifiers along the top bar                                                     
4. Take Note of the Description and Multiplier
   

Now we need to Add the new Product.

1. Head over to your Product Maintenance applet and locate and select your base product.
   
2. Select Add Using Current from the Add New Dropdown
   
3. For this I will set up the Half Fosters product.
   
1. Update the Name
   
2. Update the Description
   
3. Set to Linked Product
   
4. Set the Linked Product Code as the base product 
5. Set Multiplier to that of the Modifier, As I'm setting up the Half Product it will be 0.5
   
6. Copy in the Half Price to the Normal Price                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
   
7. At the point of saving you will be prompted about Transferring stock, as this is a new product it currently wont have any stock so the answer will not matter on this                                               
   
4. When setting up the half product in Mobo2Go set the POS PLU to the new Total Control Premier Product Code. In this instance it would be 494
