Stock Function Reports (Help & Tips)

Stocktake Reports

If you are looking for reports to use for your stocktake or print stock sheets, the best place to check is under Stock Functions -> Stocktakes.


If you click\Select ‘Print’ this will launch the Stock reporting box as follows;


If you click on the select report drop-down, you can select from the following reports;

  • Average Variance Tracking Report
  • Stock Valuation (No Variance) Report
  • Average Variance Tracking Summary Report
  • Stock Valuation Report
  • Detail Variance
  • Stock Valuation Report (Show Items In Stock Only)
  • Group Summary Variance
  • Stock Variance Report (Shows All Items)
  • Major Group Summary Variance
  • Stock Variance Report (Shows Only Variance Items)
  • Stock Sheet
  • Variance Tracking Report
  • Stock Sheet (No Grouping)
  • Variance Tracking Summary Report
  • Stock Sheet by Shelf Location
  • Stock Sheet From Template (No Grouping – Data Entry Order)
  • Stock Sheet From Stocktake
  • Stock Sheet From Template (No Grouping – Product Code Order
  • Stock Sheet From Stocktake (No Grouping – Data Entry Order)


  • Stock Sheet From Stocktake (No Grouping – Product Code Order)



You can break down the reports clicking on the tabs, filtered by where you can select your Product code range or breakdown by Supplier. You have extra options under Show products to show all products or show products with zero cost price only etc.


If you use User fields, you can filter by which is found under User field filtering.


Under Grouping, you can filter by your Major Groups or Product Groups.


Under the sorting tab, you can add to your filtering by clicking either 'stock trans code' or 'Product code'.


If you select 'stock trans code' if you don’t want to use default you can choose from;

  • Stock Trans Qty Ascending (A-z,0-9)
  • Stock Trans Qty Descending (Z-a,9-0)

If you dropdown the Product code field which will give you the following options;

  • Stock Trans Qty Ascending (A-z,0-9)
  • Stock Trans Qty Descending (Z-a,9-0)
  • Avg Cost At Time Ascending (A-z,0-9)
  • Avg Cost At Time Descending (Z-a,9-0)
  • Curr Cost At Time Ascending (A-z,0-9)
  • Curr Cost At Time Descending (Z-a,9-0)
  • RRP At Time Ascending (A-z,0-9)
  • RRP At Time Descending (Z-a,9-0)

Under ‘Date Range’ you can select your chosen dates.


Once finished, you can click ‘Display’ which will display directly to screen or use Print to printout or you can email to yourself or others.

Reporting Section

You can find more Stock reports under the Reporting section and if you select ‘New Report Wizard’.


Once the New Report Wizard is open you can expand the ‘Stock’ section which will show as;


When expanding the stock groups will look at follows to select to run;

  • Movements / Audit


  • Current / Valuation


  • Deliveries


  • Orders


  • Returns


  • Wastages


  • Transfers


  • General
