Customer Loyalty Schemes

Adding and editing Loyalty Schemes

Add a Loyalty Scheme

  1. In the Loyalty Options section, click on Loyalty Schemes
  2. Click on  / Add Loyalty Scheme
  3. Enter a Description
  4. Configure the Loyalty Scheme as per the notes below
  5. When you're done:
    1. Click on Save to save your current changes and continue
    2. Save & New to save your current changes and create a new record
    3. Save & Close to save your current changes and close the record
    4. Click on Cancel to abandon adding the record

Edit an existing Loyalty Scheme

  1. In the Loyalty Options section, click on Loyalty Schemes
  2. Double-click on the Loyalty Scheme you want to edit
  3. When you're done:
    1. Click on Save to save your current changes and continue
    2. Save & Close to save your current changes and close the record
    3. Click on Cancel to abandon editing the record

Loyalty Scheme Configuration

  1. Tick Apply Points specified on Products if you want to allow individual Products to have their own Loyalty Points - see the Product Loyalty Points article for details on allocating Loyalty Points to individual Products
  2. Tick Calculate points for this scheme if you want to calculate Points on sale and basket totals
  3. Set the Next Loyalty Scheme if you want customers to advance to another Loyalty Scheme, configured as per the notes below
  4. Tick Drop scheme if you want to allow customers to drop to another Loyalty Scheme
  5. Set a Revalue Uplift if you want the Customer to receive a percentage bonus when they add credit to their account, eg:
    1. With a 5% uplift, adding £10 gives them an additional 50p, making their total credit amount £10.50
    2. With a 10% uplift, adding £50 gives them an additional £5, making their total credit amount £55

Apply Points on Products

  1. Enter a Minimum Spend if this is required
  2. Tick Calculate points on redemptions if you want to allow points to be calculated on the value of Loyalty redemptions

Calculate Points on Totals

Points can be applied using a percentage of the basket value, or by applying a fixed number of points based on sale totals or 'X' values that are determined in the Loyalty Scheme.
  1. Enter a Minimum Spend if this is required
  2. Tick Calculate points on redemptions if you want to allow points to be calculated on the value of Loyalty redemptions

Percentage of Basket Value

  1. Set Use Calculation type to Points As Percentage Of Basket Value
  2. Set Percent of Basket as Points to the required percentage

Points From Whole Pound ... and Points From Whole Sale Value

  1. Set Use Calculation type to Points From Whole Pound Spend, Points From Whole Pound Spendage After Pence Rounding Applied, or Points From Full Sale Value as required
  2. Set Points awarded for every 'X' spent to the required number of points to be awarded for every £ spent

Points For Every Whole X Spent

  1. Set Use Calculation type to Points For Every Whole X Spent
  2. Set Points awarded for every 'X' spent to the required number of points to be awarded for every £ spent
  3. Set Value Of 'X' to the required whole number value that will trigger the points to be awarded

Next Loyalty Scheme

  1. Set the Threshold Type:
    1. Total Spend - the next Scheme will be applied when the Total Spend is reached, regardless of the Loyalty Points balance
    2. Current Points - the next Scheme will be applied when the Current Points value is reached
  2. Set the Loyalty Threshold to the required value
