Create a product that allows a value to be entered when there is no fixed price

Create a product that allows a value to be entered when there is no fixed price.

  1. The best way to achieve this would be to create an 'open' PLU.

  1. This then allows you to enter any value into the PLU.

Example,

If the charge was 30p you would press 3 0 PLU BUTTON, and for £1.50 you would press 1 5 0 PLU BUTTON

  1. When you set the PLU up, to set the halo you need to select the dropdown to change from 'general Page' to 'POS Options'.

  1. Under the General section of the POS options you will find an option called HALO. This stands for High Amount Lock Out.

  1. The value you set in this box is the maximum that can be registered through the button. If you set 5, the maximum you could register is £5.00.
