HHT Auto Off

This article applies to Skorpio X3 and X4 terminals. Screenshots are taken from the Fidelity HHT application version 3.0.4 running on a Skorpio X4.

By default on older HHTs, the power saving function can get in the way of the Fidelity HHT application processing large lookup files. The function can be turned off for when the HHT is charging, by following the instructions below.

Whilst in the Power section of Control Panel, it's also a good idea to check the HHT Battery Health.


1. Double-tap the battery icon on the taskbar

2. Touch Auto-Off

3. Set the When Externally Powered option to Never

4. Touch OK


If double-tapping the battery icon does not work:

1. Exit the Fidelity HHT application:
  • On the main menu, tap Exit and enter the Login ID and PIN "999"
  • On any other menu, tap Back until you get to the main menu, then tap Exit and enter the Login ID and PIN "999"

2. Double-tap My Device

3. Scroll down and double-tap Control Panel

4. Scroll down and double-tap Power

5. Touch Auto-Off

6. Set the When Externally Powered option to Never

7. Touch OK

8. Close all other windows by tapping X and restart the Fidelity HHT application by double-tapping the Fidelity icon


Once the option has been set, make sure the HHT is charging in its dock before running the Get Lookups process. This should now take a shorter time to complete.
