User File Not Loaded

User File Not Loaded

This article applies to the Fidelity HHT application version 2 and higher. Screenshots are taken from the Fidelity HHT application version 3.0.4 running on a Skorpio X4.

In the Fidelity HHT application, a User File Not Loaded message usually indicates that the Lookups database containing the Product, User and Markdown data has been lost. This can happen when the device is reset after a "cold boot" of the HHT, or if the HHT has been left to discharge.

To restore the Lookups, follow the steps below:

1. Log in with the User ID and PIN "999"
User Login - User File Not Loaded
2. Touch Files
Main Menu - Touch Files
3. Touch Get Lookups
Files Menu - Touch Get Lookups
4. Touch Get Lookup Files
Get Lookups - Touch Get Lookup Files
5. Touch Yes
Get Lookup Files - Touch Yes

Get Lookup Files Working

The HHT will then connect to the server and get the latest Lookups as per the last time Send To BHT was used to write Product files in the Barcode Handheld Terminal applet within Total Control Premier.

If a MISCommunicator Not Active error is displayed, this means that the HHT is not able to connect to the server. See Connecting HHT to WiFi for details on how to (re)connect the HHT to your network via WiFi.

If this does not resolve the issue, you might find an answer in one of our other Stock Taking Hardware articles, or by submitting a ticket.
