MISCommunicator Not Active

This article applies to the Fidelity HHT application version 2 and higher. Screenshots are taken from the Fidelity HHT application version 3.0.4 running on a Skorpio X4.

The "MISCommunicator Not Active" error (or "MISCommunicator Not Active, or Encryption mismatch" error as it appears in later versions of the Fidelity HHT software) indicates that the HHT has a problem communicating with the MISCommunicator service. This is usually a result of the HHT losing its network connection, but can also be caused by the MISCommunicator service itself failing, or being blocked by a firewall or other network related issue.

Try reconnecting the HHT to your WiFi, by following the steps in the Connecting HHT to WiFi article. If this isn't successful, perform a "warm boot" of the HHT by pressing the ESC key whilst simultaneously holding down the Yellow and Blue keys. If the HHT will still not communicate with the MISCommunicator service, contact us or submit a ticket.
